The Settings screen is the place to go for system settings, backup, license certificates and more
General
On the General menu there is a option to export a support package. This is very useful if you find a bug or other issue the we need to investigate, it will export the logs and your database as a zip file that can be sent to support for followup and debugging.
NMOS
User Profile
Here you can change the user profile for the currently logged in user
Icons
Under Icons you can see the user uploaded Icons and the icons added by connections. You can give them a label, replace and delete them. there is also a option to delete unused icons
SSO
Here you can setup your connection for your SSO provider
Configuration data
Under Configuration data you can Delete, Export and Import the configuration.
Import File
Selection When importing, you must select the entire ZIP archive file,
not the .db file contained within it.
Cross-Account / OS Imports
If you import a configuration that originated from a different user account or operating system,
you need to perform two steps afterwards: first, refresh the module versions,
and second, restart the "Buttons" application.
and any installed licenses. If you transfer this configuration to a different computer,
the included licenses will be invalid for the new machine.
You must delete the old license and apply a new, valid license specific to that computer.
You also need the Admin user and Password for the configuration.
There will be automatic version-upgrades (migrations) between stable versions.
Secrets
Here you can manage encrypted secrets for connections.
Services
Under services you will get an overview of the different services that run buttons, you can see the run time for each service. Buttons is self healing, so if any service should crash it will attempt to restart the service. but in very rare cases you may need to restart a service and that can be done in this window.
Open Source Licenses
This Page will list all the different open source components in use in buttons, and show their licence.
Certificates
Here you can generate a self signed Certificate, or install a already existing server certificate or certificate chain.
License
This is where you assign licenses that you have to Buttons. This is documented in another article here
