Create a Position
A dialog box will appear, prompting you to enter a label for the Position. It's a good idea to plan your naming conventions beforehand to maintain a logical and consistent system. You can also create Positions when configuring your Surfaces.
Click Create Position, and the Position configuration window will open.
The position configuration gives you a quick overview of the position, and you can change the name of the Position, add a description set or change the size of the Canvas assign or unassign surfaces add re arrange them on the canvas. We recommend that you arrange your surfaces in a similar way to how they are arranged in the real world. You can also set the position variables in this view. Variables are explained in another article. Click Apply when you have made all your changes. And Click Open Editor to go in to the Position Editor.
The Position Editor window consists of three panes:
- Left Pane: Navigation tree
- Middle Pane: A 16 x 4 (default) grid called the Canvas.
- Right Pane: Contains Inspector, Presets and Configuration tabs.
To gain more space for editing in the position view, you can minimize the left pane.
Configuration View
The surfaces in a position will make an outline on the canvas so that it's easy to se were to place the sections and buttons.
You can also click the Fit to current surface button, to resize the canvas to the the assigned surfaces.
You can add as many surfaces to a position as you need, in any combination. Lets assign a Stream Deck Neo to the canvas as well The canvas will expand to make room for the Neo as well as the Mk2
- The STREAM DECK Mk2 has 3 rows of 5 buttons.
- The STREAM DECK Neo has 3 rows of 4 buttons.
You can combine Surfaces freely within the same Canvas. You can move surfaces around from the Configuration window, by clicking on a surface and dragging it to a new position. Overlapping parts of Surfaces will display shared buttons on both.

Create a Button
Click on Button. or you could simply press B instead of right clicking and selecting from the context menu.
You have now created a Button.
Moving the inspector
To optimize your workspace, you can move the Inspector pane from the side pane to the bottom of the screen. This setting provides more real estate for making multiple edits without excessive navigation.
